• Discount – R50.00 per unit on 4 or more A/Cons to service

Service Includes:
Evaporator (Indoor Unit) Service:

1. Remove A/C Covers

2. Remove and clean out drip tray

3. Clean drum fan

4. Spray chemical into evaporator coil and drip tray

5. Clean out filters

6. Refit all parts

7. Check wiring

8. Check flare nuts in coil for leaks
Condensing Units (Outdoor) Service

1. Remove covers

2. Wash condenser – chemical ( To remove salt & residue)

3. Check piping & compressor fittings for leaks4. Check electrical wiring

5. Check cooling temperature

6. Check suction and discharge pressures

7. Test and check A/C functioning correctly

Minor repairs to units will be accommodated.

Optional Extras1. Should the unit be faulty or non operational, a quote to repair will be submitted before commencing with service.2. Regas & major repairs ie. Replacement of spares out of warrantee are not included in the service.

• New A/C needs 3 services per annum• One major and two minor services

Major Service is as follows:

• Evaporator (Indoor Unit) Service:• Remove A/C Covers
• Remove residue from coil unit and wash out drip tray
• Spray chemical into evaporator coil and drip tray
• Wash out filters
• Spray chemical to degerm and deodorize• Check wiring, check & test pc boards, spray to de-moisturize
• Check flare nuts in coil for leaks
• Remove drain pipe and check that flow of water is correct• Refit & clean evaporator assembly Condensing Units (Outdoor) Service• Remove covers
• Wash condenser – chemical ( To remove salt & residue)
• Check piping & compressor fittings for leaks• Check wiring, test capacitors and electrics to outdoor unit• Check suction and discharge pressures• Check oil & gas levels• Check & lubricate bearings & clean drum fan
• Test and check A/C functioning correctly• Check & treat if there is rust and monitor as required
• 10.Coat condensing unit internally against rust to preserve
• Check cooling temperature• Log temperatures
• Log gas pressures, suction and discharge• Minor repairs to units will be accommodated, electrical ( burnt lugs, burnt wiring, corrosion of mechanical fittings and flare nuts)
• Check aircon performance and log data• Customer to receive a copy of work performed on service dates• Customer will be notified of changes regarding lifespan of aircon units• Customer to be notified of service dates in advance
• Services do not include replacement of evaporator coil, condensing units and compressors at our expense.
• Reason being some units can be ordered ex stock from known suppliers and other units have been discontinued.
• In the event that pc boards, remotes, coils or condensing units are required and units are discontinued, unattainable or irreparable Airconditioning Kzn cannot be held responsible but will notify you, the client and a quote for a new aircon will be submitted for your perusal.

Airconditioning Service contract pricing per annum per unit as follows:

Option 1:  0-5 R350.00

Option 2:  5-10 R325.00

Option 3: 10 – 15 R300.00

Option 4: 15 – 20 R250.00
